Affectionally named after the Italian word for monster and originally inspired by two sports shoes, a sprinting spike from 1968 and a surfing shoe from the 80s. The Mostro is well-known for its signature hook-and-loop closure system and low-profile spiked sole. Today Puma brings it back in its more aggressive iteration with the slightly longer spikes.
